A month of hardwork and 2 important woman in my life
Monday, May 16, 2016
It has been nearly 2 months since I've updated and it's all because
the past month has been really horrible..
This month has been a hell month where most of the time,
I'll just locked myself at home and just study.
Or just stayed in school for supplementary classes until late 4 or 5.
But I guess I wouldn't make it through this time without friends like them..
usually I slept at 12 or 1 but this month I have been sleeping
earlier and waking up at 3am or 4am to study. Well, I guess
mid year examination is important as from the result you can
determine which topics you are weak in and you can further
improve it before the N level come. But I feel that many people treat it so serious
that they are actually stressing themselves
(Totally me studying at 3 in the morning as well
as having numerous notes on my phone) And pardon that
hot guy over there XD
But anyway, this month there's a new movie that came out which was really popular.
Captain America: Civil War
It was a great movie but still I feel that the plot is simple
and more or less the ending is expected. So I went to watch
the movie with none other than Jonathan..
Other than that we also catch another movie,
The Huntsman: Winter War
Well, I felt that the movie was a great one because it shows how a queen
being betrayed by the love and did many horrible things to stop people
from 'loving' each other. But in the end, I guess she understand the meaning of love
and she sees it. Still a good movie, but totally not linked to part 1 with the Kristen Stewart.
Oh, recently I also saw a movie "Equals" starred by Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult
that is coming up really soon. I guess it's gonna be another hot listing movie as it's also
like a forbidden love kinda movie.
I guess movie also comes from a good plot of stories. Recently I've
also read a really amazing book. The title is 'Revolution of Ivy'
It's a part 2 book of The Book Of Ivy and to be honest, this book really
inspired me a lot as it talks about the political, a very strong love of 2
person as well as them managing their country. Reading till the Epilogue,
it left me hanging for even more books from the author :)
Also not forgetting, other than enjoying movie and book, I've also went to
for a buffet dinner after my mid year exam. The food there was really delicious and I would definitely go back for more. It's located below Marina Bay Sand Hotel and well the price is also a bit expensive.
(The desert especially the mini waffles taste awfully nice)
As for my nephew, of course he has been growing up everyday. Seeing him getting taller and stronger as days passed I also realise that time really passed very fast and before we even knew it, a few years has passed. Especially living in Singapore, I feel that every day is like a rushing period as the people working would be running for the mrt and buses and students like us rushing for school on a 7am daily basics. But in other country, I feel that time passed slower. I guess it's also about society and generation that affected people like this. Felt kinda sad, like rather just enjoying a cup of coffee with bread, most people would be rushing throughout the entire journey to their workplace or school. Checking the time and just enjoying the last few minutes of music before stepping into the world and start living our 'life'.
But anyway, as my nephew grew up I also truly hope that may all odds be with him :)
here's a few photos of him :)
On 8 May, it was mother day as well as my bestbudd birthday. I planned a birthday outing for her, Charmaine and we went to Adventure Cove. It was definitely a great trip but I'm glad I didn't spend $36, original price for the ticket. It really stupid and expensive instead I went to carousell to purchase the ticket that only costs me $22. Unbelievable right ? XD But anyway you guys can go and check out this carousell user that sells almost every attraction tickets in singapore that cost A LOT more cheaper.
Go carousell and search for @attraction_tickets_sg
A great carousell seller with amazing rates waiting for you :)
Not forgetting we had a great day spent there <3
Also a bleated mother day to my fabulous mom for always giving me significant advices that led me all the way here and surviving 16 years of my life <3
After mid year exam, I've also got 4 days of rest last week from Thursday till Sunday. So I also planned a mini family outing with just my mum, sister and nephew to Garden By The Bay. I also purchase the tickets from the carousell seller which only cost $19 but the original price is $28.
It was definitely a great trip with them as we had a lot of bonding time that friday <3
Enjoyed a lot and had a great time and the weather is also treating us very good. As there isn't any rain that day or scorching sun. It is our first outing and definitely there will be more to come <3
Lastly, I've also met up with a long lost best friend. Wow, after meeting her i also realise that her life also change a lot. I'm glad we still managed to arranged to meet each other after about half a year :)
Lastly, as june holiday is coming up really soon, I also hope that everyone had every overseas trip plan out and just enjoy yourself while time last. As for me, I guess I'll just be going to school for supplementary classes 2 weeks and preparing myself for prelims because it's not the end yet. Of course, I will find some 'joy' somewhere in it. hahaha
Till next time :)
