7 years of Girls' Brigade came to an end
Saturday, April 16, 2016

Recently, it was Meiling birthday and we celebrated in school with a small cake
and card filled with birthday wishes from most of our clique :)

As March is coming to an end, we are even one step closer to POP (Pass Out Parade) so we had a big ceremony at the parade square of passing down of our roles and getting our certificate before officially stepping down. To be honest, I will miss Girls' Brigade a lot. From primary school till now, I went through 7 years of every week of my friday coming for Girls' Brigade. Even went through last year NDP Golden Jubilee which requires me to spend a whole saturday and by the time I went home I'm already exhausted from the scorching sun we suffered. It is through this experience that makes me really miss Girls' Brigade. They provide a platform for girls to become stronger and a responsible leader. I'm glad I'm one of them.

Also not forgetting my best cca mates that went through 4 years of cca with me and guided me through this journey. There are 9 all of us and I feel that Girls' Brigade pulled us together closer through those meeting planning, camps and drills. Leading Girls' Brigade with them for a year it's not easy from the start but we give our best and this year our Girls' Brigade was presented the GOLD award :) All hard work were paid off <3

Also, carrying this flag from last year August till now, it's tough but I made it through and it's all because of my senior, YiMin. She motivated me through those times and she was the one that see potential in me and trained me to be a flag barrier and carrying our Girls' Brigade flag with pride. I'm super grateful that she stayed throughout this year to come back and helped us whenever she's free. As we are stepping down, she's also not coming back regularly anymore. But truly, it has been a great year with her :)

Other then going to school, I also relief my stress through meeting my best friend and having bingsu.
We don't usually meet as we are from different secondary school but I'm glad that we are still staying in contact through texts, calls talking about silly stuffs at least once a week :) Grateful to have her in my life <3

In school, I have been going to school regularly I assume, for the past week and to be honest, it's really hard. Some morning, when I'm so tired and just wanna stay in bed for a while more but this good friend of mine, always always motivated me to go to school. I'm glad I have her if not I don't think going to school everyday will be easy.

The past Thursday, I also went to chomp chomp for dinner and had a catch up time with a friend. He is a person that gives me really good advice. Advice that wakes me up and keeps me moving especially this year.

Recently, also met up with my long lost friend, Jonanthan together with Charmaine.
It has been a great night but a bad conclusion. I guess friends fight but it's to strengthen
friendship. I mean, friends can't be happy all the times there's also sad things that makes
this friendship unique in a way or another but together with them I learnt a lot.

Also to top it off, the waffles($6.90) at The Daily Coffee was awesome! Do drop by
there if you happen to pass by :)

This few weeks, I've been going out a lot I feel and since examination are coming I guess
I'll definitely stay at home and study. I wish those taking their exam all the best. After
a really hard work of studying, the marks will be a reward for everyone! So less food,
less hanging out, less addiction on DOTS (descendants of the sun), less distractions and study hard
I'm sure it'll paid off at the end of the day :)
