4 years of table tennis
Sunday, April 3, 2016

Last Friday, I went out with Jonathan and Charmaine to dinner before
we went to study at the serangoon macdonald. The japanese restaurant,
YakiYakiBo was really good and the price was reasonable too.

The past week I've also been quite busy as there's a lot of tests and homeworks.
But the most important thing was that we are stepping down from our cca.
The past thursday was our last training. To be honest, I'll truly missed
table tennis. Well, even though I never really go for many trainings because
I had a lot of commitments in another cca and other activities but thinking back from where
I had started from, it was the only sport I was so interested in. In sec 1, I just
get into the school team after the trial out and went for every South Zone competition in
4 years of my secondary school.

Going to cca was really hard sometimes as after school we are all so tired.
But 1 person that really keeps me motivated from going to training is Jennelle.
Haha, we always encourage each other to go trainings and we eventually survived through.
When we are in secondary 1, we were so elated when there's cca. But as we
are getting older, I guess life became tougher and commitments in school, studies
just became more. And I remember before every trainings, Jennelle and I will be like
stressing about the upcoming tests tomorrow, how tiring we are and how much homeworks
teacher has given us but we still got trainings to attend. hahah but seeing how much
she and I has grown throughout the 4 years, I just had really deep thoughts about it.
How life has passed so fast, how 4 years has just flies through like that..

Table tennis is like a passion to me. 5 years ago, if I didn't picked up that paddle
at the table, I guess I wouldn't be right here as the captain for table tennis. Thinking back,
I still remember I joined this school was because of the table tennis cca.
When I got into the team, I was so glad and I came for training every time
and eventually I improved my skills after many trainings. But due to many
commitments last year until now like NDP, Girls' Brigade and studies I kinda
neglected this passion. As I stepped down, I guess playing table tennis is more
or less impossible as there's major exam waiting for me but it'll be 1 of my most
memorable moments in my secondary school life that I'll always remember :)

Also, recently I have also been going to the gym to run as the singapore
weather is so hot and I guess a little air con doesn't hurt much. haha

The past friday, I had Girls Brigade and it was our last 2nd meeting.
As we are having our POP next friday so we went to kayaking at seletar
marking our last activity before we officially stepped down.

It was really fun and I even see a seagull there and the sunset we saw there
was such a beautiful scenery. But anyway I really did enjoyed myself
there with my cca mates even though it was really tiring but after all it's all
worth it :)

Hope you guys are all enjoying your life as usual and after a harsh week, remember
to reward yourself or take a break from life so that you have the energy to
continue walking even further :)
