Hong Kong Trip 4D3N
Sunday, March 13, 2016

Hi guys, so well I just came back from hong kong yesterday!
Even though the places we went are not really that fun, but I guess
what's more important is the bonding we had when we were there.
I mean next time when we grow up, we wouldn't be able to actually
go overseas with so many people and actually enjoy it with no worries.

We were the first group to go to hong kong and therefore we need to reached
the Changi Airport by 5.15am, it was really early haha.
And we took a group photo before leaving

So we took SQ to Hong Kong which takes about 3hours ++.
And I sat with Nadiah and Alicia. We had breakfast on board and the breakfast
was well quite satisfied.

When we reach Hong Kong, we went to a museum to explore the history
of hong kong. Well it was quite interesting

After that, we went to the Jumbo platform where we see the world's largest
floating restaurant. It was really amazing and there's also yachts parked there.

After that we went for our dinner before heading to the Victoria Habour where
we watched the laser light show.

Unfortunately, the weather that night was too foggy so we didn't get to
see the laser light show clearly. But well, the wind at night was really
so cold.

The 2nd day we went to the Nam Lian Garden and also Zero Carbon Building.
The Nam Lian Garden is like a small park for people to walk around and
see the scenery. And as for the Zero Carbon Building, it was kinda boring
actually and I can't believe we have to paid $10HKD for the tour..
But anyway, this is a educational trip so well..

At night, we went to a street to had a short shopping trip.
There's a lot of clothes there but of course, I'll find for food first.
So we saw a foodstall that sells really good fried food.

($8HKD per stick)

On third day, we went to a school to visit.
The school was really big and it was located on an island.
It was really cold that day as it was only 11degree.
We had to wear like 3-4 clothes to keep ourself warm.
And as for the students in the school, I guess they are already used to the
weather so wearing 2 layers of clothes was ok for them.

We stayed in the school for about 3 hours, not really long though.
After that we went to the Ngong Ping 360 where we take the cable car
up to the mountain to see the buddha. But because of the weather and time,
we didn't went up to the buddha. It was kinda wasted though..

But well, it's great that there's starbucks at the top of the mountain if not
it'll be even wasted. After that we proceed to a fishing village down the mountain
and made egg yolks. It was really cool because we learnt that they kept the
egg york and sprinkled it with salt and it could actually preserved for a few days
before they eat it. And the villagers said it was tasting.

At night, we went to the temple street. There isn't any things much to buy actually
but well I bought 4 bags for my mum, sis and friends. But the things there are usually
just souvenirs, nothing much other than that.
Our last day, we went to the Victoria Peak which is like one of the most famous tourist
spot for everyone who visited Hong Kong.
We took a tram up and the tram was road was really steep when it goes up.

The view was really great on top.

The weather was like 9degree on top. It was really really FREAKING COLD.
And I got to buy a really hot drink from starbucks to save my soul

After this, we took the bus down to have our lunch at a really 'atlas' place
haha, the food was really good.

After our lunch, we went to the airport to check in. The plane took off around 4pm
and we reach singapore at 7pm+. They also provided us with another lunch on board.
I was too bored so I was like playing some really boring games but the movies they had
was really nice. Like they have Alvin and the Chipmunks and Pride and Prejudice on board.

So yeap, my hong kong trip just end like that in 4 days. Overall, this trip is
well not very expected but the bonding I had with my classmates definitely
got closer which I'm glad since it's our last year already together as a class.
Oh ya, and next week it's gonna be a 1 week holiday and I'm glad I could
finally take a break and just relax because school is really tough this month
as there's lots of tests and cca training but anyway I'm hanging on there.
I hope you guys will be enjoying but mugging at the same time for this
march holiday as well ! Happy march holiday :)
