 Christmas & New Year celebrations
Friday, January 1, 2016
As the year is approaching the end, many people starts to thinks about
how 2015 has passed and how we are going to live on 2016 with a positive
mindset. I guess a year 365 days is really not that long, and instead it's like
a roller coaster up and down for many of us.
Well, to start off I have to say that I had a great celebration of Christmas and
New Year with my friends and family this year.
On Christmas, I went out with Jonathan and Charmaine (again). haha
We met up at 12pm at Orchard and went for lunch at Pastamania first.
After that, we walk around before deciding to watch IPmen 3.
Well the movie doesn't seems nice from the poster but after watching it, I felt that
the movie was really meaningful in a certain way.
We went to BWB at Orchard for our christmas dinner.
Well it's not so much of the Christmas atmosphere I had receive from the restaurant
but I guess the alcohol really does makes me feel so high at a point of time.
After having a few bites of the burgers, I felt kinda full already haha because it's like
fried food and having a lot you will feel very oily. But overall I felt that this restaurant
is recommended for their beer and alcohol drinks as it's not that expensive. After the alcohol,
I had a hangover and vomit. Gosh, it has been a few years since I last had alcohol.
After cooling down, I felt better so we went to Orchard road and see the lights.
And to sum up, I felt that it's really a pity for anyone who doesn't goes to
Orchard Road during the Christmas Festival because the lights are really nice
and pretty too.
The past Monday, I also went for class outing at east coast park. It was a short bonding
but I guess it's really a wake up call for me to tell me that 'OH SCHOOL is starting' .
Gosh, I still can't get over the fact the school will be starting in less than a week.
I still remember the 2 months holiday I had and it's all gone gone gone gone like this.
Well, tbh I really didn't did much meaningful things during this holiday as I was very
busy WORKING almost everyday from morning until night and it's really tiring. But I got to
work hard for this holiday so that next year I can take a break and have some savings.
Last few days I also went to Hard Rock Hotel with my family for New Year Countdown.
On our first day stay, we went to walk around and had simple activities especially eating haha
Yesterday which is 31 Dec we went to USS to play and there were a lot of people as well.
During the evening, my sister and I went to vivocity to shop for clothes as there's A LOT
of discounts and sales for all shops WHOAAA. Near 12am and we are already at
Siloso Beach ready to see the fireworks. I'm still underage and we didn't have the tickets
so we just see the fireworks at the beach. It was really an amazing night spent to end off
my 2015.
2015 has been a great year for me filled with so many emotions.
This year, I experience so many things and 1 of the thing that hit me so hard
was the loss of my grandpa. Just in 2014 Nov he was admitted into
ICU and doctor said he may not made it but still he did. This time during
September he admitted into the hospital normal ward, but didn't made it through
and no proper farewell were even made. I regret A LOT and I still miss him a lot
up till now but still, I knew everyone have to go through life and death. I guess
pain like this also helps people to grow and realise the importance of cherishing
the family and friends you see everyday. Most importantly, never take them from granted.
To start off my 2016, here's my resolutions for this year !!
MY 2016 Resolutions:
1. Good 'N' level Results
2. Getting into the course I choose
3. Becoming more wise
4. Treasuring people that still stays with me
5. More chances to stay with God
6. Take up temporary jobs
7. Learn another new language
8. Save more $ and spend wisely (especially on food)
9. Have a frank card
10. Getting a A/B for science
11. Avoid celebrating my birthday
12. Be a GB drill instructor ( if i can )
13. Do well in NAFA test
14. Workout more
15. Stay far far away from the atmosphere of relationship
2016, I hope you will be a good year :)
